Hello blog readers. This is, as you can obviously tell, my first blog posting. I was inspired by my friend Chelsea (my first shout out, woot woot!) who is a "blogger". As you can read in my "about me" I recently moved to Chicago. I live right by Wrigley Field. I moved here from my comfortable home in Oklahoma to pursue my career as an improviser/actor/entertainer. I graduated college this last May, and since have become a professional waiter. (This section has been an extension of my about me).
I really like it here, minus the fact that I don't know too many people. I know my roommates, who are married. They are great, but at times it can be hard living with a married couple, especially when you are away from the one you (in this case, the you is me, or I) love. My room is still in the process of being put together. Today I hung up more pictures and posters. It feels more and more like home. I will put up pictures at a later time.
So if you have not heard the song "Life Is Beautiful" by Vega4, check it out. I heard it as an HBO promo, and then went on iTunes and bought it. It's really good. So good, I named my first blog after it and then put a quote from the lyrics they were singing at the time I started typing (I feel like it's a nice way to open up the blog, expect to see it again).
Any who, I wanted to start one of these...and now I did. We'll see how much I like it, usually depending on the response of others. But for now, I'll keep this up. I feel like it will be something to do when it starts getting cold and I can't get out of the house (it's 48 degrees outside now!)
